What we're building

Filovo is a browser-based toolkit for converting, compressing, and editing images and PDFs. There's no upload step and no waiting room — every conversion runs locally on your device using JavaScript, which means your files never leave your browser.

Why we built it this way

Most file-conversion sites send your documents to a server, process them remotely, and send a result back. That's slower, and it means a stranger's server briefly holds a copy of whatever you uploaded — tax forms, ID photos, contracts. We wanted something that felt safer by default, so Filovo does the work on your machine instead.

Where we are today

Filovo is actively in development. Most core image and PDF tools are live and fully functional. A handful of tools that genuinely require server-side processing — full-fidelity Word, PowerPoint, and eBook format conversion — are still on our roadmap, and are clearly labeled "Coming soon" wherever they appear.
